My hammock chair and stand are one of the best gifts to myself. I use it everyday to read in or just relax- even a few moments of being suspended and rocking are soothing for the nervous system. It was relatively easy to put together, I did it by myself. At first the base of the stand seemed to take space up in my studio apt however I now arranged it in a corner. Unless you have a large house or garden I recommend to place it in a corner, it even contributes to a peaceful aesthetic of the room.
